Hi Catherine, your mom sent me your blog address. I’ve been following your blogs for quite some time but never comment. I guess that makes me a lurker. Sounds so..sneaky or something, doesn’t it?
My parents and Grandma would take us to the North Shore every summer. This picture of Stoney Point so reminds me of my summers up there. It’s made me want to take my grandkids up there to do some exploring.
I was watching the Barefoot Contessa a few weeks ago and she devoted some time to two young women who were producing fresh veggies. I just loved the fact that they were wearing makeup and one had a dashing scarf around her neck. They also carefully and artfully placed the produce in these really neat wooden boxes. So when you’re toiling out there, don’t forget the makeup, scarf and boxes. You never know when a camera crew will show up.
I think your farming adventure is just so wonderful and I wish you great success.
Thanks, Debbie. It’s nice to hear from you and I don’t mind at all about the lurking. 🙂 I’m glad you liked the photo–I’m going to miss seeing Lake Superior every day if we ever move out to the farm for good. Thanks for the note and I hope all is well with you and your family!
