NOTE: We are now SOLD OUT of veggie shares for 2022, but we still have flower shares available!

CSA is a popular way to connect local farmers with value-minded, health-conscious people like you. With CSA, community members pay in advance for a “share” of the season’s fresh vegetables. The farmer divides the harvest among all farm members. This way, you know exactly where and how your food is grown, and you can count on our farm, year after year.
Each week, your share box will contain a variety of veggies and herbs — whatever is in season at the farm. It’s quick and easy; just pick up your box each week at your CSA site. Also, because CSA eliminates the “middle man,” your entire payment goes directly into your farm. This goes a long way toward keeping small farms viable.
With CSA, the farmer and the consumer share the benefits and the risks of small-scale agriculture. If a certain crop (bok choy, for example) should happen to fail due to weather, pests, or other factors, you simply won’t receive that crop in your share. Because of the diversity of crops grown, however, there should always be plenty of good food. We’ve enjoyed productive growing seasons in the past and plan for future success.
We’re committed to sustainable growing methods, and our goal is to build the health of the soil, plants, animals, and people at Stone’s Throw Farm. Our farm is Certified Organic through MOSA, and also certified by the Real Organic Project. We are transparent about our growing practices and welcome questions from our farm members.
