Hi, Diane. Those at the forefront in the photo are actually “Jester,” an acorn hybrid. There are Delicata after the dark green acorns in the photo. I remembered that I think we brought some for you last Thanksgiving and you cooked some for us while we were there! Will have to set some more aside for you.
I see the ones in the back. They definitely look more like what I’ve got in the back yard. Actually, I’ve been trying to figure out how a seed found it’s way into my garden. If you brought some last year, somehow an uncooked seed found it’s way there. I’m wondering if a mouse might have been in our garbage and hidden it in the snow. 🙂
