Thanksgiving Day started out sunny and 45. Throughout the afternoon, the temperature kept dropping and it began snowing. The wind picked up overnight so we didn’t even get to enjoy the look of a thick layer of snow in the trees. We do have some beautiful frost on our old windows, though. I suppose it was about time.
It’s kind of interesting that this transformation happened on Thanksgiving Day — I think the holiday helps me mentally prepare for the transition from fall to winter, anyway.
I hope some of the snow stuck around in the fields at the farm and didn’t all get blown away.
God, I miss Duluth! Thanks for the pictures, even though they make me pine for the big lake! Hope you both had a nice Thanksgiving Day!
