Here’s a little pig quiz that the folks at the Food Farm, where I work, seemed to enjoy. Don’t look at the answers at the bottom until you’re done!

Which do you think a pig would like better:

1. Cucumbers or zucchini?

2. Zucchini or Yellow Summer Squash?

3. Kale or Swiss Chard?

4. Spinach or Lettuce?

5. Cucumbers or Carrots?

You might be wondering if I asked the pigs which they prefer, or how I could know the answers. I simply watched which veggies the pigs ate first when I gave them their treats. They’ll choose tomatoes over anything else I’ve given them. I haven’t tried tomatoes vs. sweet corn yet, but I will today because a friend gave me some sweet corn that had been sitting out too long.

ANSWERS:
1. Cukes.
2. Yellow Squash.
