These carrying trays that Elden designed and helped me build today out of lath and scrap wood made my life so much easier.  As you local Duluthians know, many of our nights have dropped below freezing lately thanks to clear skies. That means I move the tomato and pepper plants inside the garage/shop every night, since I’d rather not risk losing any of them and it doesn’t make a lot of sense to try to heat the less-than-airtight temporary greenhouse. Until tonight, I didn’t have enough trays for the tomato and pepper pots, and the trays I did have were too big to fit through the narrow shop door without some maneuvering.

Now every pot has its tray, and it’s a piece of cake to move them in and out of the shop.
